What do the starting lineups for each NBA franchise look like as we enter training camp for the 2020-21 season?

The 2020-21 NBA season is fast approaching, with training camp set to kick off on Tuesday, December 1st. With everything going on in the world, it is shaping up to be a hectic season. So before the year gets going, let’s take a peek at the starting lineups these teams are poised to deploy on Opening Night.

This article kicks off the return of Crucial Baskets’ team depth charts. Later this week, the “Depth Charts” page will be re-added. You can check that out to get a view of all 30 NBA teams’ roster and rotations. The charts will be updated at least weekly, though major injuries and transactions will be updated as soon as possible. I will also have a weekly article that highlights any major changes that occur.

But for now, let’s just look at how I project the starting lineups look as training camp commences. I erred towards incumbents and veterans if I saw a potential battle at a position. However, I’m sure there are plenty of starting minutes up for grabs at a lot of these camps. If anything changes, of course, I will update my charts accordingly.

I don’t forsee any rookies having starting jobs right out of the gate. However, after gleaning through the rosters, I think that James Wiseman, Isaac Okoro, Killian Hayes, and Deni Avdija all have a chance to break into the starting five with solid enough preseason performances.
